How do I sign up for your affiliate program?
Signing up for The Flip affiliate program is FREE and simple! Simply click here and fill out the affiliate application. Your application will be reviewed by our affiliate management team and you will be contacted with their decision.
How will I know when my application is approved?
Fill out the online affiliate application here. Our affiliate management team will review your application. If you have been accepted as an affiliate partner for The Flip you will receive a welcome email with a few of our affiliate media pieces such as banners and text links to get you started quickly with the affiliate program.
What is my commission on a Sale?
If you generate sales under $1,000.00 per month through our program you will earn 4% commission on every sale. If you generate sales above $1,000.00 per month we will increase your commission to 6% on every sale. If you generate sales above $2,000.00 per month we will increase your commission to 8%. How do I get paid?
Commission Junction handles all commissions, reporting, banner and media hosting in one simple interface! Commission Junction will be sending you payments based on their policies. For more information visit www.cj.com/faq.html.
After someone clicks on my link how long will the cookie last?
Your cookie will last for 60 days! If a consumer comes through your link and doesn’t buy anything, but returns within 60 days, provided the cookie is still active, YOU will get a commission on the sale!
Where do I get The Flip banners to put on my website?
Once you sign up for an affiliate account with CJ.com you will have a username and password to gain access to your affiliate account. All of our accepted affiliates have access to banners, text links, affiliate videos and our product catalog through CJ.com.
Can I bid on keywords in the search engines?
YES! We encourage you to generate sales through Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask.com and other search engines for our affiliate program. Please click here to request a comprehensive keyword list. Commission Junction will gladly send you a list of appropriate terms. Please do not bid on any of our trademark or brand terms in any of the engines.

I applied to your program and was not accepted, how can I get accepted into your program?
If you would like to be accepted into The Flip affiliate program through www.CJ.com please ensure your website and or marketing standards comply with our affiliate terms of agreements. We welcome websites that have a cohesive design and can strongly promote our brand and our products. If you do not have a website targeting a consumer audience appropriate for our program we encourage you to build one and reapply to our program.

Affiliate terms of agreement for the Flip Video affiliate program
This affiliate "TOA" terms of agreement ("agreement") describes the rights and obligations of affiliates in "The Flip affiliate program". By signing-up for The Flip affiliate program you (or, as applicable, the entity or company you represent) ("you") agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions hereof. The Flip affiliate program is provided by Pure Digital Technologies LLC ("Pure Digital").
Reservations: Pure Digital Technologies LLC reserves the right to reject any web site or affiliate if we determine, at our sole discretion and following our review of your site or marketing efforts, that your site or marketing efforts are unsuitable for any reason. This includes but is not limited to, inclusion of content that is in any way unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable, or that includes or promotes sexually explicit materials, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
Payments and reports: As an affiliate with The Flip affiliate program through the "Commission Junction" network, you will have access to your free affiliate www.CJ.com account via username and password. All affiliate media and payments will be handled through Commission Junction. Commissions will not be paid if Pure Digital has determined one of the following problems with a sale:
- The sale was conducted with the use of a stolen credit card or fraudulent card information
- The product was returned within 15 days of purchase
- The sale was canceled within 24 hours of purchase
- The sale was conducted by or on behalf of an affiliate through their own affiliate link
All affiliate commissions will be payable to you through your affiliate Commission Junction account. All statistics, reports and program information can also be accessed through your Commission Junction account. As an affiliate with The Flip affiliate program you must adhere to all Commission network terms and conditions.
The Flip affiliate commission structure
Sales Under $1,000 a month: 4% commission
Sales Over $1,000 a month: 6% commission
Sales Over $2,000 a month: 8% commission
Cookies: The Flip affiliate program cookie will be set within Commission Junction for a 60 day period; The Flip affiliate program is not responsible for any tracking issues known or caused through either a natural or unknown technical issue suffered by and from Commission Junction or through the affiliate's website or the affiliate's misplacement or misuse of tracking codes.
Affiliate Advertisements and Links: All appropriate affiliate media including your affiliate tracking identification number will be generated through Commission Junction. Collateral for your website, email(s) and other marketing efforts can only be guaranteed to track properly if you retrieved it properly from Commission Junction.
The Flip affiliate obligations: You are solely responsible for development, operation, and maintenance of your affiliate web site(s). You are solely responsible for your marketing efforts and ensuring your affiliate media is placed properly on your site.
Trademarks
Pure Digital grants you a limited (revocable) right to use Pure Digital's name and logo (and Pure Digital-provided product identifiers and graphics) (collectively, "Marks") solely for the purposes of this Agreement. All uses must be pre-approved by Pure Digital in writing. You will immediately cease any Mark uses as requested by Pure Digital. Your right to use the Marks will cease immediately upon termination of this Agreement.
The Flip affiliate termination guidelines
Pure Digital reserves the right to terminate any affiliate in our program for any reason deemed appropriate by the affiliate management team. The Flip affiliate program affiliate partners will be terminated immediately if one or more of the following is found:
- Creating a site that copies, resembles the look and feel of, or creates the impression that the affiliate site is the www.theflip.com web site.
- Operating or utilizing a web site or email link to web sites that contain or promote any of these types of content: libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, violent, bigoted, hate-oriented, illegal, cracking, hacking or warez, or that offer any illegal goods or services.
- Engaging in cyber-squatting or typo-squatting of the www.theflip.com domain or any trademark or other brand terms associated with Pure Digital.
- Offering rebates, gift certificates, or incentives or points or other rewards to end-users who submit orders through The Flip affiliate program links without our permission.
- Purchasing or bidding for placement of keywords that are not allowable search terms as designated by The Flip affiliate program or any variation or misspelling thereof of the brand name "Pure Digital Technologies LLC", "Flip Ultra", "Flip UltraHD", "Flip Mino", "Flip MinoHD Chrome" or "Flip MinoHD", or any other Flip product names or trademarks.
- Outside of the materials supplied through the Commission Junction network (and subject to the Mark limitations above), making any representations regarding the relationship with Pure Digital or www.theflip.com, or using any trademark of Pure Digital without Pure Digital's written consent.
- Taking any action that could reasonably cause any customer confusion as to Pure Digital's relationship with the affiliate's site or company, such as making a false claim of employment or any other false claims concerning the affiliate's relationship with Pure Digital outside of the affiliate program's agreements.
- Not adhering to current CAN-SPAM Act compliance laws in emails.
- Defaming or slandering Pure Digital by name or any employee's name or representatives as such, image, products or any other defamatory statement either electronically, in print, web or media, or on blogs or forums.
- Employing any technology to read, intercept, record, redirect, interpret, or fill in the contents of any electronic form or other materials that we serve to customers who click through links to TheFlip.com web site.
- Altering the content of any advertisement that The Flip affiliate program provides, or creating advertisements with links to www.theflip.com web site not authorized by Pure Digital.
- Issuing any press release or other public announcement that uses Pure Digital's name or trademarks without The Flip's direct approval upon issuance of an exact copy of media to be used.
- Making any warranty or representation concerning any of Pure Digital's products or services except those expressly stated by The Flip affiliate program in advertisements and on www.theflip.com web site.
Limitations and Disclaimers
PURE DIGITAL MAKES NO WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS AGREEMENT AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. PURE DIGITAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS AGREEMENT, UNDER ANY LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY, FOR ANY (I) INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE), (II) THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, (III) AMOUNTS IN THE AGGREGATE IN EXCESS OF US$1,000.00, OR (IV) MATTERS BEYOND ITS REASONABLE CONTROL.
General
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state of California, without regard to the conflict of law provisions thereof. For all purposes of this Agreement you hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and Federal courts located in San Francisco, California. You shall not assign or otherwise transfer this Agreement, without Pure Digital’s prior written consent. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Pure Digital and employees, contractors, officers, directors and representatives from all liabilities, damages, losses, claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, that (i) arise from your breach of this Agreement, (ii) arise from your breach of any laws or regulations (e.g. CAN-SPAM), or (iii) otherwise arise with respect to your activities hereunder. The parties agree that if any portion of this Agreement is illegal or unenforceable, such portion(s) shall be limited or excluded from this Agreement to the minimum extent required so that this Agreement otherwise remains in full force and effect. This Agreement is the exclusive understanding of the parties with respect to its subject matter and any waivers or amendments shall be effective only if made in writing. The “Limitations and Disclaimers” section, “General” section, and all use restrictions hereunder, shall survive termination of this Agreement.
